Hutton Cranswick Community Primary School

Welcome

At Hutton Cranswick CP School we promote positive values and aim to make each day enjoyable, rewarding and memorable.

Hutton Cranswick CP School is a friendly school at the heart of our community. We are a smaller than average primary school in the village of Hutton Cranswick and part of the East Riding Local Authority. We currently have 182 pupils on roll and our numbers continue to rise.

As a school team we strive to ensure that children have the best opportunities during their time with us. We provide a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for all our children, their families and our community. Embracing and developing values for life which inspire and encourage all children to thrive, achieve and experience success is central to  everything we do. We ensure that the children's primary education is varied, challenging and relevant to the world in which our pupils will live and work. Our children are enthusiastic about their learning and try hard to achieve the best they can in all areas, whilst caring for and valuing themselves and others.

We work hard to continually improve and to give our pupils the best start in their education. Our belief is that we can make a difference, but only by working together with parents and carers, will we ensure every child achieves their full potential. We have a committed, hardworking Governing Body who represent our parents and the community in our joint effort to make our school the best it can be. It is only in true and honest collaboration with all stakeholders that the maximum fulfilment for each and every pupil is possible. One of our main aims is to help grow good people who are inspired to make a difference to our community and world.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. Our website will give you a flavour of the work we do and a window into the world of our pupils. We are a welcoming and friendly school and we encourage visitors to come and see for themselves exactly what makes us special. Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us or if you would like to visit our school, then please contact the school office on 01377 270482 to arrange a visit.

Aspire, believe, succeed - together we achieve.

'It is clear from the latest Parent View survey and my discussions with parents and pupils that they feel a great affinity with and pride in their school and they would not hesitate to recommend it to any new parent or child moving to the area.'
